For the third consecutive year, IFF will launch the "IFF Global Finance and Development Report 2023." This report, crafted by experts from China and abroad, provides an in-depth analysis of global economic and financial developments in 2023. It is a crucial resource aimed at guiding the world economy towards a path of growth.
The IFF Global Annual Meeting will host the “Fourth IFF Global Green Finance Award” Ceremony. Recognized by industries, the United Nations, and other international organizations, this awards ceremony is celebrated for promoting global green finance through fair and fierce competition. Awards include the Annual Award, Innovation Awards, and the Spark Award, ensuring a memorable night for the winners.
Themed around "Reinvigoration and Cooperation under the Fragmentation of the Global Economy," two academic summits at the IFF Global Annual Meeting will bring together researchers and scholars from esteemed domestic and foreign institutions. They will delve into the root causes and repercussions of global economic fragmentation, while also addressing critical topics such as climate change and global debt.
IFF will host two forums dedicated to the integrated development of the Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao Greater Bay Area. These forums will provide ongoing policy advice and academic support to local governments and enterprises. One will emphasize the growth of the real economy, while the other focuses on digital asset ownership, risk management, and regulation within the Greater Bay Area. Global perspectives on emerging trends in digital assets will also be explored.
Marking the 10th anniversary of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the IFF gala will feature leaders from international institutions, relevant countries, and regions. They will highlight the transformative impact of the BRI and its positive contributions to global sustainable development. Discussions will encompass future challenges and preparedness as more nations join this initiative.
IFF will convene leaders from the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), World Trade Organization (WTO), the People‘s Bank of China, and domestic regulatory agencies for four IFF Leadership Dialogues. These discussions will delve into the new challenges and macroeconomic trends in today's uncertain global economy. They will scrutinize the global financial landscape, identify risks, and seek strategies to revitalize the global economy. Common issues faced by developing nations will also be addressed.
The IFF 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting will feature numerous parallel forums, each focusing on crucial topics such as geopolitical trends, climate change responses, international financial system reforms, ESG rule adjustments, China's private economy development, technological innovation and artificial intelligence, energy transition and sustainable development, and digital transformation and financial inclusion. These in-depth discussions will illuminate pathways toward sustainable global economic, technological, and financial development.
