The International Finance Forum (IFF) permanent site is located at No.1 Nansha International Financial Island of Nansha District, which is the geometric center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangzhou Municipal Administrative Center. Close to Hong Kong, Macao and Shenzhen, it stands as an international landmark of the Greater Bay Area development. Sitting at the gateway of South China Sea, the permanent site embraces global perspective in collaboration with Hong Kong and Macao. With the design concept of the blooming kapok and flying bird, the permanent site fully embodies the splendor of Guangzhou, which is known as the “city of flowers”. The exquisite modeling and smooth shape of the architecture makes the fine combination, appearing from afar like a blooming kapok in the wind and a huge bird spreading the wing for soaring high at the close look. The launch of the International Finance Forum (IFF) Permanent Site marks the the rapid development of the Nansha, which plays a demonstrative role in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, facing the world and facing the future.
With a total land area of around 200,000 square meters and a gross floor area of about 250,000 square meters, the International Finance Forum (IFF) Permanent Site mainly consists of four parts: international convention center, affiliated hotel, service apartment and dignitary mansion. The permanent site mainly serves as a composite convention venue with supplementary functions such as banquets holding, press releases, exhibitions activities and business accommodations. It comprises 3,000-square-meter conference halls, 3,000-square-meter banquet halls, two 1,600-square-meter multi-functional halls, dozens of small- and medium meeting rooms, and 13,000-square-meters exhibition halls. Catering to the future development need, the permanent site, in addition to hosting the IFF major events, could also undertake all kinds of international affairs and activities as well as commercial events of public and private organizations and enterprises. The permanent site will fully play its role as the international reception hall for the Greater Bay Area.
